I love the storytelling around zodiac signs. Not because I believe you can predict someone’s personality in all totality, but because it’s an imprint. It’s the idea that at the very moment you were born, at that moment you came into the light, you became who you are. That you would be an entirely different person if you were born at another moment in time.
Our zodiac sign is like a key that opens the door to better understanding who we are and why we behave like we do. It can create an instant connection with another person. It can deepen our understanding of someone. It can also help break the ice with a stranger.
Of course, none of us are only the when of our birth story, but we are all made of stardust. It’s only natural that a little bit of the magic of all celestial storytelling lives within us and links us to the ever-expanding universe.
While I was designing the LITZI script necklaces, I also wanted to create another personalized piece of jewellery that I could gift my friends and family that told their unique story through symbology. MAN ENOUGH PODCAST NAMES AN EPISODE AFTER WIP NECKLACE
My cheeks still hurt from smiling. I knew Liz and Monica from Synced loved the WIP necklace. I did not expect Liz to email me and say Justin Baldoni not only wants a WIP necklace, but she told him about it on the podcast, in the episode entitled – Work In Progress.
LITZI was founded 7 years ago and it’s moments like this that remind me to keep going. Thank you, Liz, for your support. I designed the WIP necklace in a moment when I needed to release the pressure I put on myself and remind myself to put one foot in front of the other every day. That I’m simply a WIP. To know that other people can find solace in my necklace is a dream come true. It makes me feel that perhaps the LITZI story was written in the stars.
