I’ve seen a lot of holiday images of silk dresses and mini skirts. I love it all in theory…but then I think about freezing my ass off as I jump out of an Uber and over a snowbank or worrying about nylon runs when cuddling the family dog…and I think to myself…there has to be another way to feel glamorous and dare I say – comfortable!? Of course I want to shine, but do I want to spend money on a dress I rarely wear? I prefer to let my jewellery do the talking.
I took to Pinterest for inspiration and curated three style guides to inspire us all to get more creative with our holiday style. Why not play with what you already own, and add some glimmering accents that will be the talk of cocktail hour? Nothing distracts the family from their big drama more than big sparkle! Think leopard print, cashmere sweaters and The Leo Ring! Or shimmering pants and The Lucky Bitch Ring. Why not mix your favourite track pants and sneakers with The Goldie LOVE Chain?
I say, spoil yourself and your family with treasures to hold on to, that can be worn all year long. At the end of the day, dress for yourself. YOU are The Main Character of your story! Come as you are. Dressed to express your real self …with a little extra.
