SO MUCH ABUNDANCE
How is your summer going?! It can be easy to feel like I’m not doing enough when I compare my days to what I see on social media. There is always a better trip or a bigger moment being had by someone else. But when I block that out, and let myself soak up what is all around me, I can’t believe all the abundance in my own backyard. A freshly baked scone made by my husband, covered in a lemony drizzle made with herbs from my own garden! Blueberries on my birthday cake! Watching my son run as fast as he can after his soccer ball! Setting myself up under an umbrella to read and journal in the shade as I enjoy a cool cocktail! A friend sharing his chicken’s freshly laid eggs! There is so much beauty right here, if I can just remember to really see it.
I hope you are enjoying the slower pace and finding little moments of pleasure.
